Wednesday Nights

6:15-7:45 pm

AWANA is an international, Bible-centered children and youth ministry presented in a club format that is age or grade specific. A typical evening is divided into three segments: Handbook time, Council time, and Game time. Special events will be added throughout the year. AWANA's goal is to reach children with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.

Awana at First Baptist Church

Our Awana club meets on Wednesday Nights from 6:15 to 7:45 during the school year.  Children may register for Awana at any time through our church office or when attending Awana on a Wednesday evening.  Awana meets in the fall, takes a Christmas break, and resumes in the spring until school gets out.

The LFBC Awana Club is for children 4-years old through 5th grade.  This includes:

Cubbies -  4-year olds

Sparks - Kindergarten through 2nd grade

T&T (Truth & Training) - 3rd through 5th grades.

There is a $15 registration fee for the year.  The registration fee provides the child the appropriate Awana uniform vest or shirt (an Awana requirement), and their handbook.  Scholarship assistance is available on a need basis.  Contact an Awana Leader or the church office regarding assistance if needed.
